The Lamia

Casa Cicerali is set above a stunning valley of olive trees and vineyards, between the towns Ostuni and Cisternino.

The property is a restored 2 bedroom stone farmhouse, which combines the architectural integrity of the original building with contemporary design. A renowned local architect designed the renovations.

Within the surrounding 5 acres of land, there are numerous fruit trees, an almond grove and olive trees separated by meadow and dry stone walls. A bespoke stone patio and swimming pool sits at the end of a gravel path.

Ostuni and Cisternino are white washed medieval hill top towns renowned for their connection with the Slow Food Movement. Their narrow chianche stone streets and piazzas provide a beautiful setting for dining.

The surrounding countryside offers an opportunity for walking and cycling amongst the olive groves and vineyards. Ancient Trulli and Masserie nestle between shepherd paths and country lanes.

Casa Cicerali is situated between the rocky coves and beaches of the Adriatic Sea and the white sand and turquoise water of the Ionian Sea.

The Baroque towns of Martina Franca and Lecce are nearby, along with the Unesco World Heritage Sites of Alberobello and Castel del Monte.

The fishing ports of Monopoli and Polignano al Mare are excellent places to sample local seafood and charter fishing boats.

Casa Cicerali allows visitors to experience an area of Southern Italy - the mezzogiorno- which retains its cultural authenticity and historic charm.
